First machine experienced a shipping problem and was banged up a little when it arrived, notified Kentec and they shipped a new one no questions asked. basement with NO exterior access, worked great to control all dust.
We are a high end general contractor, that specializes in finished basements. If you want to keep the air clean while working this is the product for you.

I wish we would have bought one years ago. Got this machine in time for trimming out a 1500 sq.
Kentec was a great customer service oriented business to work with. This is a fairly heavy machine but portable, it could use some better packaging to prevent dents and dings.
So far this seems like a good unit. I think this will be a good purchase. After a little investigative work I figured out that the switch in the power cord had a bad solder connection.
I just mounted it and have not had a chance to use it much but am confident it will clean the air as expected. One other issue I discovered was that florescent lights affect the remote control. Moves a lot of air and should do a good job in my wood shop.
I re-soldered the connection and it is now working fine. I did have one issue with the product as received and cost me about and hour to trouble shoot and figure out the problem. When plugged in for the first time the unit did not receive power.
I had to shroud the receiver eye on the unit from direct light in order for the remote to function properly. I let you know more in a few months.
Delta seems to really have some quality issues. The box was fine. I was really excited to get this but it arrived defective. I put into amazon for a relplacement and will try one more time. No dings from UPS but the fan was out of kilter and rubbed the side of the housing. My carpenter tried to fix it but it was too far gone to address. I really like the concept but I need the unit to work. The replacement process with amazon was very easy to do online.
I set the timer to better clean the air after doing some work and do not have to return to shut the cleaner down.The gage on the side of the unit is supposed to show when the filters are getting clogged. The air cleaner works well. I especially like the timer, it can be set to run for 1/2 hour or longer and then shut off automatically. I do not think it is very accurate because new out of the box the gage shows that the cleaner almost needs a filter change.I almost did not buy the unit because of comments about damage occuring in shipping. Thankfully my cleaner was not damaged at all.
This filter was installed in a basement workshop and suspended from the flooring beams above by chains. There is no noticeable vibration and the noise, even at high speed, does not bother the wife in the upstairs area. I was able to get it in place by myself, but this is best accomplished by two people. It moves a lot of air, and so far, after only a month of service, I'm pleased with the unit.
